  • Actions:
    - Cleaning of the panels from detritus and guano.
    - Inspection and servicing of the solar unit (including the control unit, pipe insulation and the condition of the antifreeze fluid), ensuring that the system is running efficiently.
    - Inspection and servicing of hot water cylinder.
    - Benchmark log books updated.
    - Inspecting the panels and solar unit for damage.
    - Consulting the MCS installation guide to determine signage requirements to ensure compliance.
    - Inspection for error codes and faults within the system and advising any remedial actions.
    - Inspection of PV modules for defects such as burn marks, discolouration, delamination or broken glass.
    - Checking modules for excessive dirt build up and advising any remedial actions.
    - Checking that module wiring is secure and not resting on the roof, hanging loose or exposed to potential damage.
    - Confirming the module is not bent to an unapproved radius.
    - Inspecting module mounting system for defects including rust, corrosion, sagging and missing or broken clips and bolts and advising any remedial actions.
    - In roof mounted systems, check for the integrity of the penetrations.

     

  • Visual Inspection:
    - Confirming that roof penetrations are watertight, if applicable.
    - Confirming that the roof drainage is adequate, roof drains are not clogged, and confirm that there are no signs of water pooling in the vicinity of the array.
    - Checking for vegetation growth or other new shade items such as a satellite dish and advising any remedial actions
    - Checking for ground erosion near the footings of a ground mount system.
    - Confirm proper system signage is in place.
    - Confirm appropriate expansion joints are used where needed in long conduit runs.
    - Checking for any loose hanging wires.

We do have a Gold contract however this is exclusively for those who have had their system installed by us and who purchased their Gold contract at the time of their installation. If you have had a Gold contract in the past you will be eligible for this.
